After reading the previous thread about the people ordering the GSM Treo 600 from hidden pages on the HS site, I decided to do a little searching myself and actually found a way to access the Tmobile Treo 600 order page on Handspring's site.

Here is how you can do it also:

    1. Click the Treo 600 buy now link from the HS homepage.

    2. Enter zip code and select Sprint as your service provider and then copy URL into clipboard. Here is an example: http://www.handspring.com/products/c...questid=133513

    3. Click back and then select Tmobile which will take you to the same page that says that the a compatible device will ship in the next few weeks.

    4. Paste the URL that you copied earlier into the address bar and replace "sprint" with "tmobile" in the URL and then click go. As shown here: http://www.handspring.com/products/c...questid=133513

    5. You will then be taken to a tmobile order page.

I am not ordering through this page until its posted externally but thought that I would share this find with everyone. I was surprised to see the device priced at $699 without a plan. Since I already have a plan and I have passed my contract date, I plan to sign a new contract, cancel my existing plan, and switch phone numbers if possible.

Worked for me. Given previous experience of users on this board, acutally ordering on this page is a bad idea.

atlgsm: any idea how to get to the unlocked/unbranded page?

Went through the above steps. Price, without contract, is showing $199! What's up with that? Probably a waste to go through with it.

As I mentioned. Don't do it. I, for one, would like to see what happens to the page over the next couple of days. If we tip off HS that we found it, they'll hide it deeper.

    Look but don't touch!

FYI: the process turns up nothing with Cingular and AT&T. Only TMO works.

Oops, scratch that FYI: Cingular and AT&T do work. Forgot to "back" page into it.

Is going to be offering the T600 for $699 (search the board on my name and you'll see that I predicted this.)
    Tmobile is evil!

Doesn't it bother anyone that TMobile doesn’t give squat about existing customers?

1st, that is Handspring's page and Handspring's price. T-Mobile doesn't dictate what Handspring sells the Treo 600 for.

2nd, I bet Handspring will change the price before the page is made public. It has already changed down to $199, which I'm sure won't happen either.

I tried those steps and it didn't work ...

    Not Found
The requested URL /products/communicators/config/carrier_tmobile was not found on this server.

They'll probably see all the HITS to that pag and bury it deeper, I suppose.

Just in case people can't get to the page, (which you should be able to if you follow the directions exactly):

1st TMO page is still there, but both buy option pages now come up blank or empty.

I got it to work with Cingular also. Just use "cingular" instead of "tmobile". Make sure you choose Cingular on the second page also.

    T-Mobile
    Cingular Wireless
    AT&T Wireless

1st pages are still there, but both buy option pages now come up blank or empty for all 3 carriers. They've either taken them down, buried them, or making changes.
