I love the case....bought the form fitting one from HS. But I rather have the same case but with a belt clip that just holds the phone horizontal......not this "spin 360 degrees" clip. If I find one ...I'll buy it

thanks for more pics. i didn't realize the plastic covered both screen and keyboard.

i don't know if i want something to cover the keyboard. i'm afraid when covered the keys will lose the raised feeling that makes them easy to find.

anyone have this case or any case that covers the keyboard?

    Thanks for the pix!

I like this case alot MINUS the clear plastic cover.

I have the Hamdspring case. I am still amazed that the plastic does not effect the accuracy of my typing at all! I love the plastic on the screen for protection, however with the Sprint Bump at the top, the plastic does not lie flat and makes it slightly difficult to tap the screen at the top. I also like on HS case that the lens of the camera is covered with a flap that folds down, again it offers protection, my 2 cents.
    Thanks,

I have to say that the black-ish case, when combined with the white stitching, looks a little too much Roy-Rogers-Dale-Evans/Saturday morning cowboy TV show for me. Kind of something that Woody in 'Toy Story' would carry, or maybe that cowgirl Jessie or whatever in Toy Story II. No thanks.

And I actually considered this case until these pictures showed me it had a plastic covering on the front - that was NOT obvious on the Covertec web site.

    Thanks for the pics.

I also have the Handspring form fitting case and have NO PROBLEMS AT ALL typing on the raised keyboard with it having palstic over it.

This covertec really looks nice because the speaker is exposed (louder ring.. good thing) and the camera is exposed (easier photo shooting).

    Where can you get it?

I am not a big fan of the plastic either

i'm glad to hear the plastic doesn't impact typing but i have a mental block with plastic covering keyboards.

i'll feel like the guy at my oil change shop who types in my order on a keyboard covered with an old yellowed plastic cover.

Like the overall look of the case but don't like

    Western style stitching
    Plastic over keyboard.

Would prefer form fitting case (similar to vaja Ivolution)
Four position click clip similar to handspring belt clip case for the 270 (which I use now)
    No good deed goes unpunished

Does it "spin" freely" or is it a ratchety type of spin that allows it to lock into place in various positions? What about the Handspring one? How does that work?

    Thanks guys!

I just took my form fitting case off my Treo 600 (its been on since the day I got it 10/9) and tried to type. I can't! My fingers slip off the keys. I can type much better, accurate and faster with the plastic cover. If you have not tried it, you should. BTW, I have one of the new Covertec cases on order. :-)

How do you type with the plastic on? Don't you lose the feeling of the individual keys? How do you know which key you're pressing?

    YeeeeHaaaaa!!

These will match my cowboy boots and belt perfectly!

I bought a case from danscellphones on ebay. It is called the Treo600 OEM case. It looks like the HS case but costs $12.95. It is leather and the stitching does not contrast. One thing I like about this case is that the swivel has detents that allow the phone to sit at various angles so I can move it to horizontal when I sit or vertical when standing. The Sprint ear bulge makes tapping the extreme upper portion of the screen when using the case a little difficult but I mostly use the d-pad anyway.

I am not affiliated with danscellphone in any way except as a satified customer (although, I do not like using paypal)

Has anyone had any experience with the bellagio cases? Their website says they will be shipping both a "cell phone type" and a "flip type" in november...decent pictures are on the site.

I was wondering the same thing regarding the Covertec case. The HS form fitting case is a ratchety type, which I like. I also agree that the plastic covering the keyboard does not affect typing. I can still easily feel each key below the plastic.
