hi !

i'm surfing the tucows soft hub at palm os compatible solutions for security/encription programs.

i know the TREO600 ships with splashID designed to do the job; somehow that's exactly why i wouldn't trust it to keep my passwords stored.

i guess it would be the first choice for anyone with bad intentions to implement some code on any program to break the splashID interface and recover my data.

what's the program you trust the best ?
opensource should be better ?

and while we're at it i would REALLY appreciate advice on some kind of FIREWALL that screens OUTGOING data (GSM and GPRS, since you can send info and browse the internet via GSM too) to prevent sensible strings from being sent EVER.
