I'm a C++ programmer and I want to explore programming on the Palm OS, mainly for teh Treo 600. I downloaded the Palm OS 5 Simulatore, but am looking for:
    a) the ROM file for the Treo 600, I registered on PalmOne site, but can't find the download file.
    b) how to install it to be used in the emulator, mainly PalmSim.exe.

    Any help would be appreciated.

it's between the Insert and PageUp key, right above End, unless you're on a laptop.

It drove me crazy for a while not knowing which one it was too.

    Treo 600 Rom:
palmOne Home < PluggedIn Program < Development Resources < Treo

    Home Key:
You can also turn off NumLock and use the Home key on there.

I am also interested in learning to program for the palm OS. I find it helpful when learning to trace thru some simple programs. Anyone know where I can find some example source code?

I've stumbled my way trough an Hello World app using OnBoard C - a C compiler that runs on your Treo.
