Suppose I shift from my Treo 270 Tmobile phone to a Sprint Treo 600 CDMA. Would the Treo 600 have noticeably longer battery life than the Treo 270?

I understand the difference in battery life between the GSM and the CDMA Treo 600.

I am just curious how the comparison is between the Treo 270 and the CDMA Treo 600. Anyone know?

    Hi there,

Kevin from Handspring here. To answer your questions, here are the listed stats for the Treo 270 and Treo 600 batteries, taken from Handspring.com:

    Treo 270:
    - Up to 3 hours talk time
    - 150 hours standby time

    Treo 600 CDMA:
    - Up to 4 hours talk time
    - Up to 240 hours (10 days) standby time

    Treo 600 GSM/GPRS:
    - Up to 6 hours talk time
    - Up to 240 hours (10 days) standby time

For Treo 600 devices, you can also add up to 3 hours of additional talk time and 180 hours of standby with an external battery pack.

    Hope that helps.

    Best wishes,
    Kevin
