I am almost positive that the T600 does not have a built-in Java VM, but there are several out there for you to download...

Thanks ijablokov but the ibm wme is not MIDP2-capable yet, although they are working on it.

I did a little search. Here are some other J2ME runtime manufacturers apparently working on MIDP2 capability:

    1) esmertec.com

    2) kada: http://www.kadasystems.com/news/press_releases.jsp
    - may be the first MIDP2 runtime available - to be confirmed.

    3) savaje.com

    4) aplixcorp.com

    5) www.ewesoft.com - http://waba.sourceforge.net/ - http://www.superwaba.com.br/ - may not be fully Java standards compliant.

    6) hp.com: vm is called chai - not officially a product

    7) http://www.nsicom.com/

    8) www.kaffe.org

if anyone knows of other MIDP2 runtime developers, please let us know.

    thanks,
    serge
