That's the page I used. When I register (or login/verify), it sends me back to http://www.handspring.com/company/in...elations.jhtml

From that page, I click the "Webcast click here!" image at the top of the page and it opens a new window, which gets redirected right back to http://www.handspring.com/company/in...elations.jhtml

    Sigh.

Now as long as the Dream Pages people aren't making these dates up, then I actually think this is encouraging. Now of course delays are never that encouraging, but this tells me that HS is at least giving someone updated information, which is more than any of us get when we contact them directly.
This date was given to me by my sales rep at Ingram Micro. It's all we have to go on. She said they are suppose to have them on 10/15 and ship them to us on 10/15. We're 2 days from their warehouse so we should have them on 10/17.

I'd love to be wrong about this but I was told at the SF mission possible that Handspring would not be selling unlocked GSM phones directly due to carrier relationships.
The ones we are selling are unlocked so they are carrier independent.

    Interesting.

When I click on that link I get the "Register" page, when I click on the "Register" button to submit my registration it takes me to the audio presentation on a small window and to the Investor Relations page on a large window:

(the audio is playing as I type this post)

Larry - if ingram micro told you the 15th why does this site that supposedly links to real time ingram system still say 10/10?

This isn't Ingram themselves, just some other vendor.

You'll notice this vendor shows 10-10. It is 4:14pm ET at their PA warehouse and they still show 0 stock... So either this ain't so realtime or their ETA was missed.

FYI - Ingram is now showing ETA as 10-14 with more product on 10-16 and 10-18. Not sure about the other sites, but thats whats on Ingram's site.

BTW, I used a GSM Treo at Palmsource Developer Conference in Munich, speech quality was excellent in a T-Mobile (Europe) network. I was wondering about some softaware apps we beamed to the 600, the device crashed immeadetely?!

But these apps work fine on other OS5.2 devices (Ticker, a RSS newsreader) and some other. All of them need an internet connection ... Hope this was a non-final device.
    RTFM
