    Does anybody know if the will be or is an upgrade deal here in Europe?
    I have 1 each Treo 180 and 1 each 270.

    I read your comment and I really hope for a better customer care from Handspring.

    I have my 4th Treo in my hands, and it has its problems too. we were pionieers and we paid for it a lot.

    that's why I'm expecting rebate offers here in Italy too.

    I hope there are no A and B series customers for Handspring.

    Is there anything stopping us ordering a GSM unit without a contract from the US site? The only thing you might need is a friend with a US postal address.

    I assume that they'll sell for a similar price to the Sprint units with rebate. $399 is about 250 - I'd spend that for a new unactivated unit.

    you better make sure you get the GSM version, the one selling right now in the US of A, is the CDMA version which is useless in europe!
