    Question,

I read about activating the phone by doing a ##xxxxxxxxxx but when I do this it connects to the sprint network then just returns me to a dial pad. Is this the right way to do it, even for someone that is transfering from a 300? Or is there a different procedure?

my fault. The first CSR told me to enter a number, not ##xxxxxx. I called back and all is good.

    CSR tells me to:
    1 hit phone button:
    2. press ##xxxxxxxxxx

Apparantly some screen is supposed to come up but it just goes back to the screen with the dial pad.

    Any advice?

Update: 2 hours later i have an activated phone!!!! (i had to do a bunch of stuff)

Yes, that number you enter isn't your cell number, it's a 6 digit number the CSR gives you. The first CSR I spoke with told me it was my cell number. If you think about it for a second it doesn't make any sense, what would stop me from putting in someone else's cell number?
