A plain old sprint store in Indianapolis (not even a super center) got two this morning. They didn't even know they had it. They're gone now, and I have one of them.

So get down there and hassle your local store!

Can we keep a running list of where people were able to find them (city, store)?

Thanks so much for posting! I called my local store, and got first on the list for 600's they will receive today or tomorrow in East Mesa, AZ. Only $86 off of price for 2-year commitment. I'm still debating the 2-years, in case another provider comes out with another great phone next year. We shall see. I've got a few hours to think about it...

Man, stay away from these 2 year agreements. If people keep signing up for them then eventually you'll HAVE to sign a 2-year. The deals you get with 2-year agreements are the same you used to get with 1 year.

The only way to fight it is to not support it.

Ordered today..Sprint Business Center..will ship UPS air to Atlanta ASAP. They say they are getting slammed on phone orders. The rep told me probebly wouldn't ship today...probably tomorrow.

I got either a $100 rebate on 1 yr or $150 for 2 yr. The rebate coupon will be packed in the box upon delivery.

The guy also says he my phone order was #12 he took today (about 11:00am EDT).

I was on a waiting list at a local store, but as of today, they 'thought' it might be Friday and the didn't know the price or possible rebate/discount. No local stores had a clue (and more than one told me that they would not be selling until the T300's were all sold.

BTW, called in twice before I got someone who knew what they were talking about on the business center line.

Not to mention 2 yr contracts are totally working against number portability. By roping people into contracts that long, carriers are trying to force people to stay with them (instead of actually having good plans and great service so that people will WANT to stay). When number portability is available (if it does in fact happen) on November 24th, all those people with 2yr contracts will be stuck and quite possibly better offers might be available from another carrier. But they won't be able to switch without paying a fee for breaking their 2 yr contract.

I totally agree that 2 yr contracts are BAD and signing them only allows the carriers to walk all over us some more...

I agree on the 2 yr contract thing... but on the other hand, if you go with Sprint, it doesn't really make any difference because you're buying a $500 phone that won't work on any one else's network. So you're kind of stuck with Sprint even with number portability

Has anybody gotten a rebate if they renew an existing contract with Sprint? Or do you have to sign a NEW contract to get the rebate? And if it is a NEW contract does this mean a new number?

    Thanks ...

I walked in and got a 600 from the Sprint Store on 82nd street in Indy. They even gave me $100 off because I told them that Handspring had special pricing for current 300 owners.

They only received one in today and I got it!!!

Sprint (LOL - ironic, isn't it) has no record of my order.

I'm fed up. I called back and cancelled my non-existing order and re-ordered on Handspring at a better price. Got email confirmation in 2 mins. Another email about 1 hour later.

    Thanks Sprint (for nothing)..

I hope the service gets better...

The phone will be grreat, but now I'm wondering if it can make up for all the SPINT shortcomings.
