Well I just saw the T600 vs G1000 (or whatever it is). The 1000 is HUGE.

Does anyone have any side by sides of the T600 vs the t-mobile xda or Samsung i700 (which are both about the same size)? Or can someone cut and paste accurately?

I think the pocket pc phones are slightly thinner than the T600 but the T600 is shorter and narrower. Maybe a little lighter also?

    69.9mm x 130mm x 19mm = 2.75" x 5.12" x .75"

    190 kg = 6.75 oz

So it is a little over .75" longer, and a little over half and oz heavier than the CDMA Treo 600, .8 oz heavier than the GSM Treo 600. Battery and Talk times are less than both Treo 600's too.

May I assume you didn't mean kg? That's a heavy phone.

Must be equipped with some sort of "heavy-duty" battery to prolong talk time.

I meant grams, the weight in oz is correct.

Any side-by-side pics like the Hitachi 1000 and the T600 in another thread?

Not *real* precise, but should give you some idea of relative size.

satyric, great work! This really gives you a good perspective of relative size.

It would be interesting to add one of the new, camera non-pda phones to see relative size. Like the Sony Ericsson T616

I can back up the accuracy of that comparison pic - when I saw the 600 back in June at the Sprint forum, I put my 300 up next to it, and the relative size is just as depicted on that pic...

    satyric, again looks great!

If you do anymore updates it would look better if the Treo 600 had an active screen instead of the dark screen to show off the bright screen

Think that I'll hold off on the screen update for when I actually get one in my hands!

Remember this link? It was posted awhile back from BleedingEdge, a member who got to use the 600 pre-production. Great shots vs. the TMobile PPC Phone:
