If the bulge is the biggest complaint with this phone, then I think Handsrping got it right. Having a somewhat unsightly bulge is much better than hard resets, lockups, crashes, and the like!

You Yanks are lucky. You have the "bulge" which helps you from getting cancer. As for us Asians, we have to settle with the non-bulging GSM model.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Was that the GSM guys have a "sliver" of a bulge or or are they jealous of the Sprint guys' bulge?

I didn't think GSM had the same problems, guess not.

The only way that the GSM version would not have the same problems with radiation is if the transmission power is lower for the GSM unit. Since the frequencies used are the same, or very close. The lower the frequency, the higher the penetration into human tissue than the same power at higher frequency. So any 800 MHz frequency that is transmitting at the same power as a 1900 MHz will have deeper penetration.

I wouldn't worry about it anyway. The 60 Hz frequency travelling through your walls and high voltage power lines is much worse for your body than your phone.

With so little to do until the 600 is released, we need to amuse ourselves in some trite and stupid manner. This wait is KILLING me!

WeeBit -- at least you got to go to Mission Possible to get an early fix!

    Agreed....

I have one of those little tiny Sanyo 6000's, and finding the so-called sweet-spot can lose me the first sentence of a conversation. As one who has fought the battle of the bulge elsewhere, I recommend surrender. It's coming, enjoy it.

The Antenna is the most UNSIGHTLY BULGE on this phone (makes the ear 'bulge' tiny by comparison); otherwise the look is pure-GREATNESS. And, the Black 600 is too cool!!! Silver is way OLD and overdone. Black is new and more professional appearing in a subtle sort of way. Just my-not-so-humble opinion.

I agree with your not-so-humble opinion! I think having a black phone will be phat
If God brought you to it He'll bring you thru it!

I agree, took me a while to spot the difference... so it is not that obvious..

I absolutely love the bulge. There's a reason why Sprint phones look so much better than other phones.

Is that a bulge on your phone or are you just happy to see me?
