    I know most will buy the darn thing the first day that it is available. but i ask myself this question, how much are you willing to spend on it?

    If Ingram wants $475 in bulk, then existing Treo owners should be able to do this for <$450. I'd include selling my 180 in that price.

    see that's it. everybody from tc get together and work out a deal to buy in bulk. sub-$400, that's our goal. something for everyone.

    What happened to pre-registering here at tc?

    less than 450. I'd be in. I spent 500 for the 300 on day one, and I dont think I could sell it for half (less than) now.

    Rather odd that cost to distribution is $475 and Sprint is charging $550 -$650 depending on a new contract vs existing customer. The cost for the new contract is lower? So why are we willing to pay 30pts margin for a phone. I thought the carriers subsidized the phones so we would upgrade and stay with them. This is by the way not subsidizing anything, its list price plus. Now if Sprint would offer a decent roaming package I would jump ship.
