i recommend going to a great site that allows you to find links for news and many other catagories. try www.top10links.com you'll be able to view many different options and find the appropriate url's there good luck. i personally use ap and reuters news headlines. it's very up to date news in headline form. un biased as well.

also, check out www.enewswires.com note the local links section. if your town is represented there, it can be very nice to use. good luck!

those links are great - but i'm trying to find the best news site that's well formated for the Treo. None of the ones on that site are specially formatted for handhelds...

I'm still able to get to the mobile version of CNN on my Treo:

    http://wireless.cnn.com/pqa/cnn/en/index.html

I have it bookmarked and get there all the time, no issues. Just tried in fact - all active and chock full o' news...

This may only be related to the Avantgo support CNN mobile feed. I suspect that the mobile.cnn.com link would still be active. Could be wrong though...

I use the BBC and CNN (for now). BBC has great coverage, IMO.

    The BBC URL is http://news.bbc.co.uk/text_only.stm.

Does anyone have Blazer friendly text-only links to the Wall Street Journal or to the New York Times?

Unless something changed recently, neither one is available without AvantGo.

WSJ and NYT are both available without AvantGo on the Treo. I use:

    http://wap.wsj.com/

    http://www.nytimes.com/wap/

Other sites you might find useful are on my homepage, which I designed specifically for my Treo (with apologies to SmallSites):

    http://www.geocities.com/davidhansen

    Enjoy.

I went there yesterday (Sunday) and found CNN, much to my surprise.

    This works now:
