Just registered today. Finally! This is a great site and used it extensively before I bought by Treo 300 in October 2002.

Ran across this item today. Do you this Symantec product is worthwhile? Doesn't seem worth it for the Treo 300, even though it has always-on wireless Internet access.

Though I figure when the Treo 600 comes out, this will come in handy, especially with the SD/MMC slot, enhanced e-mail capability, etc. etc.

In my opinion I think it's a waste. It may be useful some time down the line, but right now it isn't.

It's useless now and it will be useless when the Treo 600 comes out. There are only three viruses/trojans available for the PalmOS and at least one of them was created as a proof of concept by an antivirus company. None of them are "in the wild" and there are no good mechanisms (like a built in scripting language with no security features) that would make it easy to design a PalmOS virus.
