I couldn't tell from the pictures-does the treo 600 have a flip cover?

You are a relative newcomer to this Forum and site, and maybe to Forums in general. It is considered proper ettiquette to do an initial look around at a site, check out the articles, and especially the postings in the forums. Many sites (like this one) have search tools to find key words/topics. Had you done any of this you would have discovered that there has been endless discussion about the T600, and the lack of a flip cover.

The Treo 600 will not have a flip cover. (No bug up mine.)

Multiple choice question: which is the more elegant version of the exact same answer?

    (b) No.

I'm going to sidestep the whole issue, but I would like to say The Elements of Style is a great book. Unfortunately I only remember three words from it (fittingly): Omit Needless Words.

heh heh - in keeping with the theme of this thread, mwylde, your response should have been

    well sorREE!

or maybe, circa 1977- Steve Martin: Well exCUUUUSE MEEE!

Keep working - you'll get it right.

I don't get it-I ask a simple question about the treo 600 and I get replies telling me how stupid I was for not searching all of the discussion pages first. Did my post really disrupt your life so badly that you need respond in this fashion? And I really don't get the sorREE thing.

You did not get "replies" telling you how stupid you were for not searching all the discussion pages first. You get one reply to that effect; and everyone else lept to your defense, making fun of the curmudgeon who couldn't be bothered to give you a simple answer. I, for one, don't consider "do a search" replies to be proper etiquette: they're presumtuous, condescending, cliché and uninformative.

As far as I am concerned, it has always been and always will be considered proper ettiquette to not have a condesending attitude towards new users to any forum. Do us all a favor and don't ruin this forum with that kind of attitude.

think that "do a search" replies are very informative to newcomers and if done tastefully could be inoffensive.

    e.g.

No the 600 does not have a flip cover. If you do a search on "flip" or "cover," you can get more information on this subject. Good luck.
