Has anyone else noticed this with their Treo 300 Sprint phone?

I can launch an internet-aware application and initiate a new
connection without a problem. But if I let my Treo go into sleep
mode and return to it an hour or so later I'll get an error message
saying there was no connection available. The arrows (now grey)
still appear near the signal display.
The only way to get it to reconnect is to turn wireless mode
    off and then back on.

It is starting to become a nuiscance to have to turn wireless mode
off and back on before I'm able to connect to the internet.

    Help!

Does disconnecting from the network do anything (as opposed to turning off wireless)?

    Sometimes.

    I think I found a workaround...
I setup my Treomail to check for new email once
every 30 minutes. That seems to have been
frequent enough to keep the data connection
    alive 24/7.

At least it's better than the annoyance of having
    to constantly disconnect and reconnect!
