I've seen all kinds of posts about connecting to the net with the Treo and PCS service using a cable. Is this possible on a Mac too? I need access only occassionally for very short periods of time, when I'm away from my office on the road. Any idea if it can be down, software needed, hardware, etc...

It's called WirelessModem and it should work with OS 9. I use it with OS X 10.2 and it works great!

Wow - that looks great. It gave me a download for OSX, but it was a .dmg file so I couldn't use it - also downloaded the zip file and was able to install the .prc onto my Treo. Followed the step by step setup instructions - go to configure the modem control panel and the remote access CP and I dont have either in my system! Will troubleshoot later I guess... I would really love to be able to use this!
