Except for QWERTY, a direct competitor.

    Already at Sprint.

Think so? It's neither Palm, nor PPC, nor any other handheld operating system. I don't see this as a competitor at all. A great product, perhaps, but not a smartphone.

Definitely not a direct competitor. It's a competitor for Sanyo's 5300 and 8100 camera phones, and LG's new camera phones. Sure it has a nifty swivel, and camera, but that's all. BTW, I think Samsung was stupid to not include an external LCD or OLED for the A600. If you want caller ID you have to leave the screen exposed even with the flip closed. Dumb move. I'd rather have the A620 which will replace the A500 and be around $100 cheaper than the A600.
