I live in the St. Louis region and can get a Treo through T-mobile, or AT&T (although with Cingular reportedly converting their entire network to GSM I expect to be able to go through them sometime in the not too distant future). However, my wife and I both have family in rural Southern Illinois (ok I understand farms in the middle of nowhere are low on the carriers' priority list) and was wondering if anyone here can provide some insight into when one of the Treo carriers might have a GSM network that stretches into southern IL beyond the major interstates.

Thanks in advance.
