    After reading all the problems here and having a Treo that works pretty much as promised all the time, there is no way I'm going to put it all on the line for slightly increased data speed.

    Treo has been working fine here in southern cal...plus there is no way to "undo" the update....

    Mine's been working fine. And when I went to my sister's today with a full battery, I get no signal in her place. When I left 2 hours later, it was still full.

    I could have sworn it used to drain faster in situations like that.

    My work has no signal and some days it drains like a mofo and others it doesn't. I think I've come to the conclusion that turbo drain only occurs, or seems to be a lot worse when you're connected to Vision, even if you're idling. If you have the vision arrows near your signal strength meter while haivng no range, then you're in trouble.
