The URL should be OK. It works on my treo fine. Are you sure you entered it correctly?

Also FWIW, there's another dictionary reference site from Merriam Webster that might be useful:

Got my Treo600 a few days ago... LOVE IT. Good software ROCKS!

Now... I want to have a good collection of news and other mobile web sites. Have you guys found some that you think are really useful? I'd love one with local movie times, and where I can buy tickets!

    Thanks!

What's everyone's opinion on the best portal available out there. I appreciate everyone taking the time to create their personal portal out there, but isn't the point of the portal to have all the links at one site? So just wondering which portal is the most comprehensive. Right now I'm using pdaportal.us.

pdaportal may have many site links, but I personally donít want to click multiple times or have to type something to get where I want to go.
Iím still developing www.treo.zerobits.com and if you tell me what youíre looking for, I can try to add it. So far most everything on my site can be accessed via the Treo number pad which to me is a great one handed tool.

I set my mobile-friendly links directory up about a year ago due to my unhappiness with existing efforts. It currently houses over 1000 links but about 650 links do not yet have descriptions. Of course, all links are searchable. What I do not offer is the Treo value that the Treo6 specific sites offer such as ringtones, wallpaper, etc. The current Treo6 sites have those bases covered. If it's web links for your Treo that you are looking for, I have you covered. If you are looking for Treo6 ringtones or wallpaper, or Treo6 news you will be better served by the other Treo sites (which are in my directory)

Ask a silly question, get a silly answer!

    Treo600Essentials.com of course!

    Best,

Derek, you should dump your current TreoEssentials graphic on the site and use that red pill with just the TreoEssentials text. I think it looks much better.

We thought about it but the existing graphic serves a functional purpose - that box houses the changing page header name. We could've put it in the pill but it always either looked dead or competed with the logo too much. In addition , the big drop shadow took up too much room.

Glad you like the pill though - pretty soon we'll be launching a new matrix spoofed ad campaign based on it. You know - the red pill or the blue pill? Just how deep does the rabbit hole go type stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback and visiting the site. I also apologize for going off topic a bit.

    Stay tuned!

I was kind of curious to find out if their is a ressource to see a bunch of Blazer/palm optimized web sites. Handsring has some default "favorites" on the Treo but they aren't always up or maintained or even optimized visualy. Is there a ressource out there for that ?
