    Its in Manhattan starting Wed.

    Handspring has a booth.

Anyone going to be there or know anyone that's going to be there?

Hopefully more will come out as to the hard release date and screen specifications.

We should start compiling a list of questions that weren't answered the first time around. Like:

    Screen resolution? (Hoping it's not really 160 X 160)
    Pixel level of camera?
    Audio with video?

That's a few to start. Anyone else?

    -Name of the browser

-Will it include a cradle (big letdown with the 300)?

I called Sprint and asked Claire about discounts for current users and here's what she said...

"Yes, all Treo 300 users will be able to buy a Treo 600 for 90% off the retail price. Why? Because we appreciate early adopters who spread the word about our new products and help us sell to the masses who would otherwise never hold a computer up to their ear to talk. Also, for current Treo 300 users, you will receive a special, gold plated, Ultra-Treo 600 with high definition 1024 X 768 resolution and 8 megapixel camera which can be disabled for those working in corporate or government jobs. Sorry, no bluetooth though...can't have everything!"

Gee, and I was impressed when they sent out those replacement car chargers without asking!

Anyone who sees it should use the phone side and report about it - call a friend, surf to a random web site or two.

Don't settle for a demo of that by someone else - do it yourself.

Okay, so who's definitely going to this thing? Preferably it will be more than one person...

I wonder if TreoCentral staff are planning to attend and report on the event.

"...all Treo 300 users will be able to buy a Treo 600 for 90% off the retail price." (per Sprint automated customer service).

Step 1: Activate new Sprint service with Treo 300.
Step 2. Wait for Treo 600 rollout.
Step 3. Get Treo 600 cheap.
    Step 4: Profit!

THAT might get me to switch carriers.

WHen it was up, http://www.handspring.com/treo600/ said there would be a discount for current user.

It also said it will be a premium device, what ever that means.
