I have a Treo 300 (SPCS) and have been using Blazer (with 0 cache). I just installed Xiino to try it. A short trial leads me to believe:
    1. There are sites which Xiino can display that Blazer can't.
    2. Blazer seems a bit faster to me.
    3. Sites not set up for a small device are a mess on Xiino. I tried to access SPCS site and it was unusable. Of course you can't get it at all on Blazer.
    4. I like the bookmark utility better on blazer - the display and utility is better, IMO.
    5. Blazer allows a quicker disconnect - just hit menu-D.

Please someone who has tried both - what are your thoughts? And does anyone use both on the same Treo? Why? Any issue with leaving both on the device? I am just unsure whether free Blazer is good enough or there is a good reason to pay for Xiino and also have a fairly large amount of memory be used by it.

    Thanks.

Personally I think Xinno Suck. Hearing about Xinno's java Support influence my Purchase of the treo. Boy was I disappointed.
Stick with Blazer, or Try Eudora Web Browser, Not Pic's just text, but super super fast. I call it my Business Brower.

I have both (you can't delete Blazer from the Treo--it's in ROM) and really like Xiino. I rarely have any problems and find it faster than Blazer.

When I tried Xiino I found it to be a bit faster than Blazer, kindof a cross of Blazer and EudoraWeb. That's in the strange cases where Blazer does a lot of hourglassing.

Blazer does bookmarks very well, which makes it hard to get used to anything else. I was most annoyed at Xiino's lack of keyboard support, but we managed to patch keycapshack to do opt+backspace as a way to hit the back arrow. So I'd probably just use the same technique to add some other hotkeys if I wanted them.

Xiino has that great ability to install software, and I was looking forward to being able to snarf jpegs and stuff which is supposed to be a future feature. I'd buy Xiino if they were more aggressive with their software updates. I mean their last upgrade was Sept 2002. Still at 1.0.9e.

I like the ability to highlight text in Xiino. It is real handy when searching to highlight a phone number and dial (with markndial) it. That was the deal closer for me. I don't really need anything else in a handhelp web browser. I only use it when I need to find some information or I am bored and looking for a way to kill some time.
