I've installed a number of web clipping files, hoping to get pqa's to work on my Treo 300, without any success-- I couldn't connect to the internet.

Now I'd like to uninstall. INet Library, Web Library, and ZLib, but the Palm OS Delete won't let me do this. Is there another way of deleting these files, short of doing a hard reset?

Yep! Do a warm reset (hold up-scroll button while poking reset button, then when the Palm Computing logo appears, let go of the up-scroll button). It's like rebooting in safe mode. You won't lose any data, and you should then be able to delete the files.

It worked like a charm! Thank you so much for this useful OS tip.

Uh, I did that now I can't connect to the network. It says "Network library unavailable."

If anyone else has a problem like this, just do a standard reset (plain vanilla reset pin) and it all comes back.
