Chattermail and stock Email apps for PalmOS seem to be suffering from the SHA changes that webOS users are experiencing. Is anyone getting email to work through any method on PalmOS? POP? IMAP?

Hotmail still works as POP on my T/X through VersaMail. Haven't tried Chattermail in a while for my Gmail account.

Which app for gmail are you using? It's too late to buy versamail. I wonder if there's a hack to get it now.

Sorry was thinking Xpress Mail. I have versamail. I still can't get chattermail or versamail to work with gmail in pop or imap. If you all would be willing to share your settings I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I have less secure apps enabled and pop access enabled in gmail too.

I'm adding a picture because I'm pretty frustrated. This took some work to get together too! All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have "Allow less secure apps" on in your google account security and signin settings? Supposedly, that should allow the older security digests to work.

Your certs may be outdated. There is a website I've used to update them on my TouchPad - traud.de/ta

I don't think PalmOS supports that filetype.

Yes I do. I get SSL errors! If I knew how to get new certs or SSL updated that would likely fix it. Kind of a bummer. The good news is the opera browser works decently well for gmail.

What if you rename it to .pem (or whatever PalmOS does support)?

    I mean is a certificate a certificate?

    OK, so I searched and...

    https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-converter.html

    Changing the suffix might work...

    Or use the converter?

What file format does PalmOS want?
