    Thanks for the info on the contacts one additional question.
    In the options menu what does enable first name lookup mean?
    What does remeber my last command mean? How should the preferences in the option menu read to best facilitate looking up the contacts.

    Enable first name lookup means that when you type a letter, the Contacts application will look up names based on both the first and last name of your contact. If it is disabled, it will only look up names based on the last name.

    Remember last category means that if you switch from one category, like Business, to another, like Personal, then the next time you switch to the Contacts application, it will be on the last category that it was on when you left it. If this is not checked, the Contacts application will always have all categories open.
