So, could other Treo users use a software application that links to some kind of directory assistance where you could search for a phone number, then easily be able to select a number to dial? Any ideas?

    slwatts,

If you can use PQAs, then there is one that reads data from the 555-1212 website. Do a search for PQA installation - you'll need to install some libraries in order for them to work.

Also, in blazer, you can go to: www.555-1212.com

    Either of those should work,
    Don

directory assistant is pretty cool and its free. you can look up by various criteria, and then a couple of taps gets you to a mapquest map!
