Can anyone confirm? They said there isn't software written at the time. I've noticed one dude around here from notifymail, but it all looks like Mac to me... anybody know if the treo will connect to a pc??

2 people at Sprint told me that the issue is in the synch cable. The techs said it was impossible to keep pushing the synch button, each time you'd lose your connection and then have to get back on... doesn't somebody sell a cable to do this express purpose??

Anybody have their treo running as a modem for their pc laptop??

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Instructions for most operating systems (including Windows) at:

However, you cannot use USB on Windows.

Thank you Mr. Gruby, I'll see how the demo works.

Well I have it all ready to go, just waiting for the serial cable to get here. I'm sure once I get the thing, somebody will have a USB program written up (always seems to work that way) for Windows.

I do have an IR port, but running 98. All the tips and hints have a download for XP/2000, don't see anything for older machines. Anybody have any luck? Couldn't find it in that (very long) thread.

I want to get this thing running right now! he he

Thanks again, once I get the serial cable and get it running, I'll be buying the software. If not, there will soon be a slightly used serial cable on the market.
