This may have been address but I did not find it in my quick browse of the thread.

Why should I purchase/use this app over FingerDial, Agendus, Contactpro, Beyond contacts or the other apps of this type?
Sorry about the typing errors; I'm all thumbs.

Well, because the developer KNEW that people would ask this question, he gave a 30 day trial for that purpose. I suggest you goto www.shsh.com/beta & download the latest version, you SHOULD be impressed to see on that page the progress made by the developer by listening to people like us......
    P.S. read the manuel.

    lenman,

I actually use Agendus *with* TakePhone. They're two totally different programs. Beyond Contacts isn't as versatile as Agendus, and although I've never tried it, from what I've read, FingerDial comes close to TakePhone.

    Ditto:

    1. The same as stated above or before.
    2. A duplicate; a copy
    3. A pair of small marks (") used to indicate that the word, phrase, or figure given above is to be repeated.

    Word History:
Ditto, which at first glance seems a handy and insignificant sort of word, actually has a Roman past, for it comes from dictus, “having been said,” the past participle of the verb dcere, “to say.” In Italian dcere became dire and dictus became detto, or in the Tuscan dialect ditto. Italian detto or ditto meant what said does in English, as in the locution “the said story.” Thus the word could be used in certain constructions to mean “the same as what has been said” for example, having given the date December 22, one could use 26 detto or ditto for 26 December. The first recorded use of ditto in English occurs in such a construction in 1625. The sense “copy” is an English development, first recorded in 1818. Ditto has even become a trademark for a duplicating machine.

Hi, I've got a support question for you.

I'm trying to use the TakePhone hack to enable dialing from other apps on my Treo 600. In the instructions, it states that I should highlight the number and press "Address" (aka "Phone") to capture it. Wha do you mean by pressing "Address"?

    Hi,

    1. For the Treo 600 you can not use a "hack". You need the "TAKEphONE OS-5 extension" (www.shsh.com/beta)
    Run and enable it.

    2. Now highlight a number, press the PHONE button (leftmost button of the 4 hardware buttons lined up with the 5-way rocker).

    Hope this helps...

I mis-stated. I do have the TAKEphONE OS-5 extension installed from http://www.shsh.com/beta/tkphos5hk106.zip. I did enable it. After highlighting a tel number in the Memo Pad app, I press the PHONE button and nothing happens other than just going to the dial pad.

I think the address button has to be assigned to TAKEphONE.

    Your voicemail calls you ?

Can you supply more details - what exactly do you see on screen, what exactly is wrong ?
