What exactly IS a hotkey ??? Maybe I can help...
Hotkeys appear on the speeddial page-- they're the shortcut keys that you can assign to a phone number, an app, or a url.
  3. #463
I had a feeling that that's what it is, but by me they are working. The only thing is that I have to hold it, and it doesn't start dialing untill I let it go. But it works, even with the latest version.

I did, and don't understand. You dont have the voicemail icon even if you have voicemail? or you cant see how many voicemails you have?
  6. #466
I'm sorry you entered this discussion late. I have the voicemail icon in the built-in app, but not in TakePhone.

Shimon is the developer, and I'm sure he has it all under control.

Not for me. I downgraded to w2, which worked, and then upgraded back to w5, just to make sure.

Yeah, I understand, and in NO WAY do I want to offend you, but I do have the VM icon. in Preferences by Handspring treo there should be an option (in the latest version) Voicemail Indicator :
    None
    New
    Unread
    Both

Maybe yours is by None. I am so sorry again, and just trying to help.

Maybe you guys are from a different carrier -
Handspring claims in their SDK (software development kit) the
voicemail indicator function "will work depending on your carrier"...

    This seems strange, too.

Can YOU try the KeyTest utility ?
Maybe you have different codes assigned...

    From your website...
    What’s new in build 99x1:

    - Treo: “Return after call” – only for calls started n TAKEphONE.

Why not give the option of both, I liked the idea that it always went to TP ?

    - FIND: Search for numbers in “Turbo” mode, too.

    Good

    - FIND: 5-way nav. does not go through category trigger when showing “[Speed-Dial]”.

It didn't till now, or am I missing something?

Can you verify something for me ?

When using a HotKey to launch a favorite entry with an application (e.g. launching "Calendar" with the "C" hotkey), users reported it worked from TAKEphONE, but created a meeting with a "Ccccccccccccccccc" after launched.

Can you check if this still happens with 5.05m 99x1 ?

    Thanks !
