    Hello.
I am looking for a good and reliable spell checker for the Treo. I'd like that app to:
    a. Check my spelling while I type, or
    b. To appear in the pull down menu of any app

If you could recommend one that'll be grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

    Thanks!

The best one is SpellCheck. Database is large (typical for dictionary related programs). There is a recent update as well, mostly not related to the Treo, though hints for Treo users are added. You can trail it if you want.

SpellCheck is a pretty good program but it is a really big install for people like me with only 16 megs of space.

I installed Spellcheck but can't see where to activate it in any program like it says. The user guide suggests downloading RecoEcho for you to be able to write a :menu: on the screen to activate the Spellcheck option for Treos. Is there any other way to do this?
I downloaded the free version of RecoEchoPlus from HS's web site but I can't enable it. See the thread I started here:
