I need help setting up my Snappermail on my Treo 300. Could someone help me... The following are the items I need to fill in:

POP3SERVER: (I assume this is my sprint pcs address)
USERNAME: (I used my first name, though I don't think this matters)
PASSWORD: (I assume this is my Sprint PCS Password)

OUTGOING MAIL: (I put in my sprint pcs address, but could I use my yahoo address?)
USERNAME: (Not necessary I don't think... says optional)
PASSWORD: (Not necessary I don't think... says optional)

Thats about it. It's possible that Sprint's email was down, but I'm assuming I've got an error in setup. Please help me!!

I can only speak for sprint and sbc/yahoo dsl email.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    >>> POP3SERVER: (I assume this is my sprint pcs address)
    pop.swbell.yahoo.com
    pop.sprintpcs.com

    >>> USERNAME: (I used my first name, though I don't think this matters)
    Sure does matter, I use:
    "my_swbell_username"@swbell.net (with the domain)
    "my_pcs_vision_username" (without the domain)

    >>> PASSWORD: (I assume this is my Sprint PCS Password)
You have at least 4 passwords with sprint (account, vision, email, voicemail).
    "my_swbell_password"
    "my_sprint_email_password"
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    >>> OUTGOING MAIL: (I put in my sprint pcs address, but could I use my yahoo address?)
    smtp.swbell.yahoo.com
    smtp.sprintpcs.com

    >>> USERNAME: (Not necessary I don't think... says optional)
    "my_swbell_username"@swbell.net (with the domain)
    "my_pcs_vision_username" (without the domain)

    >>> PASSWORD: (Not necessary I don't think... says optional)
    "my_swbell_password"
    "my_sprint_email_password"

There is a whole tech article regarding this on the Snappermail site under Support. You also might want to check out the Snappermail forum on Yahoo or the Communications Software Section or, of course, you could do a search.

It is a little tricky to set up mail with sprintpcs. Make sure you set up an e-mail from their website. You will need to login, and the create a password for e-mail. Keep it simple and use the same password you do for all of sprint stuff. You dont need seperate e-mails.

Your POP3 server should be: pop.sprintpcs.com
POP3 username should be your username (not your Name)
Password should be your Email password (not your Sprint account password)

You Outgoing Server should be: smtp.sprintpcs.com
Your username and password NEEDS to be entered for Sprint and should be the same as your POP3 user and pass above.

See http://www.snappermail.com/support/isp.cfm#13 for a verbose explaination.
