Does anyone know how to move the cursor within text as if using the arrow keys on a standard computer keyboard? Is there a way to do it with or without a hack?

Hold the blue button while tapping the up/down navigation buttons.

There's a quick reference "card" on the Handspring CD (with these types of shortcuts) that you can print out.

Don't know about the communicators, but the Treo 90 has a KB Demo App that is very helpful and covers a lot of ground.
