    Has anyone figured out how to get the full
    ASCII character set to work on the Treo 300
    using ptelnet?

    The list types key doesn't seem to work
    and the keyboard button only displays a limited
    char set.

    See my posts in the | pipe character in Mocha Pocket Telnet and Hitachi to introduce PPC clone of Treo 300? threads. The problem with my macro-based workaround is that you can only get 12 out of the 15 ListType-generated punctuation characters. You can either make the 3 unavailable characters be ones that are generateable by the onscreen keyboard, or else make the 12th macro have 4 (least-used) characters in it, and then, to get one of them, generate all four then delete the three you don't want.

    If this situation bugs you, I'd encourage you to email support@mochasoft.net and complain. They've said they don't think the Treo market is small enough to worry about (and so they won't fix this problem). Only way to change their minds is if lots of people email them.
