Looks like Amazon is your best deal...

I had mine mailed to me from www.microcenter.com

They have it for $350 and you get the $50 rebate from Sprint. Beats Amazon's deal since you don't have to wait on $150 from them and you can get a 2-yr warranty from Microcenter for $59.

Just find the store closest to you and call them up.

Perhaps one of the most interesting and colorful words in the English language today is the word "WOOT". It is the one magical word which, just by its sound, can describe pain, pleasure, love, and hate.

In language, "WOOT" falls into many grammatical categories.

It can be used as a verb, both transitive (John WOOTED Mary) and intransitive (Mary was WOOTED by John).
It can be an action verb (John really gives a WOOT), a passive verb (Mary really doesn't give a WOOT), an adverb (Mary is WOOTING interested in John), or as a noun (Mary is a terrific WOOT).
It can also be used as an adjective (Mary is WOOTing beautiful) or an interjection (WOOT! I'm late for my date with Mary).
It can even be used as a conjunction (Mary is easy, WOOT she's also stupid).

I will never be sorry enough. I invented 'woot'. It was back in my MUDding days on Sojourn. I used it as an exclamation of ecstasy whenever I struck the killing blow to a monster. It spread like wildfire over the entire MUD, and I had believed it limited to that branch of the 'net.

Then one day, after Sojourn's split and Toril's eventual demise, I went on EFnet, looking for a game to while away the newly-freed night hours, and alas, I saw on the screen a phrase that stole my breath away: 'w00t! I g0tZ t1b3r1@N 5Un!! /msg me!'

    I'm so, so sorry.

    Back on topic...

Amazon has added the new (effective Jan 1, 2003) rebate from Sprint, so the price is back down to $299.99 AR.

The $150 Amazon rebate expires Jan 6. It will be interesting to see if the Amazon rebate goes back to $200 like they had prior to Nov 19 or goes down to some other amount.
    Thanks,

    Mark

Checked with the local Microcenter and they did not have the Treo instock. I went to their website and printed off the page showing the Treo300 for $349 walked into BestBuy and asked them to price match it. I told them up front Microcenter didn't have it in stock. The guy asked me if it was with rebates and I told him "No, they told me that was the price at the register. You can call them." He called them up and gave them the 3rd degree then went and had a chat with his manager. He came walking back over with a big grin on his face and said "We can match that for you." I think he was as happy as I was.

This may have been stated before but I'm thinkin' the Treo might be made by Motorola for HS. The wall charger is identical to my TimePorts charger except the logo is gone. The Treo's plastic seems the same as my Timeport as well.

Well I'm off to get it all activated and setup..

I saw $349 tag (before $50 rebate) in CircuitCity yesterday.
I think Treo's price is actually going down.

Just FYI, I confirmed with Sprint that even if you buy from
Amazon.com you're still eligible for the first-three-month free
    PCS Vision.
