PQA's with "autofind" searches such as moviefone, or starbucks, (they locate the nearest movie or starbucks) do not work. Any ideas? When i travel and I am looking for a Starbucks, I don't always know what zipcode I am in.

    Have you tried starbuck's locator?

I have the starbucks locator on my Treo. On my PalmVI you hit autosearch and it found the closest starbucks in your zipcode. WHen I hit autofind in my treao, It comes up address not found. It seems to be searching as if I am looking for a specific location. This is the same fpr my moviefone clipper. I'm at a loss

Do not work on internet enabled Palms. The pqa specification allows a programmer to query the ids of the nearest Palm.net towers and resolve a zipcode from them. Since T-Mobile and Sprint are on completely different networks, the resolver part fails. I found a nice little app called 'Zip+4' a pqa that will give you the zipcode for any street addres in the US. I just goto a street corner, look at the number on a building and put that info into the app. Out pops a zipcode that can be manually entered into Starbucks or Movie Fone, etc. It works fine this way.

Can you give a link to zip+4? Couldn't find it at palmgear.
    Thanks

Not sure if it's the same app, but here's one that might work...

The name matches, so I'm guessing this is it. I haven't tried it myself yet to know for sure.

The URL alex posted does appear to be 'it', but maybe an old version, because it doesn't work. It gets a 404 error, indicating the USPS website has moved the page and so now the PQA is looking in the old, now invalid location.

Likewise have had issues with the Zip+4 PQA working, has anyone been able to get it to work or know of an alternative app or easy web site to achieve this ?
