Has anybody used a USB Charger cable for their Treo 300. I'm thinking about buying the Handspring Treo Power Sync Charging USB Cable w/ Sync Button from gomadic (at http://www.gomadic.com), but are not sure if there are any problems/restrictions.

    Thanks,

    Sebastian

they are about all i use to charge my 300. i keep one home and one at the office. that also encourages me to sync at both places so i am always well backed up...

I use the iConcepts USB/Charger combo cable. No complaints here...as long as you keep your computer on a lot...since it won't charge unless your computer is on.

the usb charger/sync cable is great. got mines on ebay for about $10. And you DONT have to have your computer ON for it to charge. syncs just as great as the original sync cable. recommended as a replacement!

ditto here for ebay. i got mine from user peakcloudy. i only mention that because in another thread, someone had bought one from a different user and had problems.

I also use the iConcepts cable. MicroCenter has it for 16 or 17 bucks if you have a MC store near you.

How does the MiniSync work with the 300? It does not have a hotsync button on the cable.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks

I would imagine you just use the sync application on the 300. Just pull it up and hit sync icon

I just bought a USB charger from Semsons for 10.99(http://www.semsons.com/usbhotandcha9.html) and love it. The cable is short-ish, which I like.

i highly recommend this if you travel like i do. use buttons-t to set one of your buttons to the hotsync app..then hit the treo screen to hotsync. very easy.
