    Right, here's mine.

    1. High-res screen that's at least readable in sunlight.

    2. More RAM.

    3. A better OS.

    4. Better expandability.

I don't think you could get much more than that without dramatically increasing the size. Even the Treo 300 is a little bigger than the 270 and it isn't THAT much different.

Let me also qualify #3: For me, there isn't a PalmOS that offers an ideal fit for the perfect Treo. PalmOS 5 seems to me to be too heavy and will be too Pocket PC. PalmOS 3 and 4 is too lightweight. Someone on here posted a link to a zdnet article where the author advocated Handspring moving away from Palm and going with Java based OSes. I'd love to see that: something innovative -- exactly what Handspring should be about and have traditionally been about. I think the days of PalmOS innovation is over; Palm seem to now be blindly following Microsoft. That being the case, I'd love to see a change of direction and a Java or Linux based Treo. Or, dare I say it, Symbian

    How about:

Better casing material - mine's all scrached and chipped all over.

Redesigned SIM cover with ability to disconnect SIM through a switch (when the Treo hangs, disconnecting the SIM for a few seconds does the trick rather than performing a reset).

    Built in LED laser pointer.

Mini screw driver in the pen.

Reset hole accessable with tip of stylus.

    Adjustable auto completion text list

Faster than 2+1 GSM/GPRS chip and triband

Larger screen - use standard Palm size without making the case any larger.

    Additional programmable buttons

Phew! The more I write, the more there is. Better stop.

Tri-band. Good call. Add that to my list.

And configurable auto-correct won't add anything to the size of the unit, so I'll have that too.
