OK, I need my speed dialer to preface some numbers with *82 to disable caller ID. Some phones wont accept private caller ID's. I enter this into my speed dial number, but when it goes to dial it disregards the *. Anyone figure this one out yet? In this day and age of caller ID you would think this would not be an issue.

I have this same problem. I use a product Address Plus that will allow the *82 but it only supports tap dial and no jog support at this time.

I thought this info might help; I use *82 with the speed dial and it works fine. I just have "*82" and the number I want to dial, all in a consecutive line.

Just wanted you to know that it does work on a treo 300.

Yeah I got it to work in the speed dial, but still does not work in the phone book.
