    After 6 days of great performance, my Treo 300 suddenly seems to have stopped working. I get only a flashing screen - white background flashing to blue background - with a "Palm Powered" logo on it. "Soft" reset does nothing to change things. Any suggestions, or do I just turn the phone in for an exchange (which will be a pain - plus my IT people finally got Snappermail working on this unit).

    Try a warm reset first - press the reset button on the back while holding down the "up" scroll button until the screen lights up. If that doesn't work, try a hard reset - press the reset button on the back while holding down the power button until the screen lights up (note: this will reset the device back to factory settings and delete all applications/data you have installed/entered).

    Check your user guide for more info on the different resets.

    Had to do a "wipe out," but at least the machine is now working. Starting over from scratch - my IT guy is going to kill me. Oh well.

    Just hotsync. All will return to normal.
