Hey again everyone. I use @mac.com for email (smtp.mac.com for outgoing) and it does allow me to send mail from any email client as long as I authenticate. So it would seem useful to use with Treo. However, inexplicably, I cannot seem to send. Papi-email is set to authenticate with smtp.mac.com and it *thinks* it has been sending a whole lot of emails, but my recipients never get them. Any thoughts?

    ...later that evening...

Reading some online Papi-mail tutorial I found where I had typed my email address as longday@mail.mac.com and it needed to be longday@mac.com . I don't know what came over me. Now I can send via Treo with no problems, woo hoo, thanks goodness for mac.com and SMTP authentication.
