    Hi!

I was wondering if anybody has managed to sync on Linux (Redhat 7.3) with a Treo 270. I've tried and can't get the OS and Treo to communicate with each other.

    Cheers,
    /Trevor

I'm having the same problem under Mandrake 8.2 - I'm assuming that something about the Treo architecture that makes it different enough from the Visor et al that Linux doesn't recognise it.

Can anyone confirm this and give any help in remedying the situation?

    Cheers

I have no problem at all with syncing the Treo. Just modprobe the visor module, have /dev/pilot point to /dev/ttyUSB1, enter "pilot-xfer -s backupdir", don't push enter yet, push the hotsync button on the plug, when the hotsync screen comes up, push enter on the PC. done.

Didn't try any of those GUI tools yet, though.
