    I've had it.

    Dear Handspring,

I (and_many_other users) have had it with Sprints unreliable network, services, and customer service. There are new threads on this board suggesting a class action lawsuit. You should know your new "partner" is costing you dearly, as your wonderful new Treo is only as reliable as its network provider.

For all of you who've "had it" (and if you haven't yet, i assure you you will, and are paying too much) please turn your FLAME ON in this or the Class Action threads.

    =)

How can you be angry you're paying too much? Do you buy things without looking at the terms?

Again...if sprint DELIVERED the quality of SERVICE it PROMISED, I'[d have no problem with my terms. The service has SUCKED so HORRIBLY for many many MONTHS, and as far as I'm concerned, they're taking their customers for a RIDE.

One shouldn't have to be an AS***** to be compensated for CRAP SERVICE.

After 2 weeks of not being able to activate a new phone listening to the myriad of expensive radio / tv ads for sprint is NAUSEATING.

    **** off. =)

If I'm not mistaken, they aren't charging you for the data, are they? At least not for three months. I think I saw something about that. On the other hand, I'd bet there are a ton of people who are happy with their service. Just as there are a ton of people who know how to correctly capitalize English sentences.

Treo 300 is a great product. Sprint data network is a disaster. After 2.5 weeks & a lot of time with customer service, my phone is still not provisioned properly. Sprint customer service is also a train wreck.

i understand the frustration of not being able to use the data features of the Treo. For me, I have been very happy with my Treo and its service and especially with its ability to hold a signal. My data service took 3 days to provision (that was frustratung) but since then it has worked perfectly. I also have a Samsung A500. The data side on it works but the browsing experience sucks. It is very slow and most of the old 2G ww sites generate browser errors. To summarize, Treo with Sprint 3g good, Samsung not so good.

Do you have stock in Sprint?

You seem to be the OnLY horse's a*s who is in love with Sprints HORRIBLE service...network and CS.

I have no connections to Sprint at all. I was just making the observation that the vast majority of people are happy with their product and these boards are smart and sophisticated. People have more respect for one another. We'd appreciate it if you would not try to change that.

    **** off!
    Grow up please.

The best thing you can do is vote with your wallet. I dropped Sprint after only 3 months (with a visorphone) due to dropped calls. They initially tried to stick me with the $150 drop fee, but after 11 dropped calls just trying to cancel my account (that was a fun experience - NOT!) they waived the cancellation fee.

Find a better provider - clearly Sprint is not working for you in your location.

Seriously, you have NO idea how PISSED OFF many folks are at Sprint.
You might think twice before annoying a seriously abused customer.

Why are you still a customer? It sounds like, for you, they have not delivered service and you have a good case to be let out of your contract without a fee. Why don't you cancel and get on with your life.

You're right, I have no idea how upset some people are. However I still know what is polite and what is childish. I'd agree the other posters that you should vote with your wallet and simply up and leave. Even if you have to pay the fee, it seems like this is wrecking a good deal of your life. Anything that makes someone this angry should be ended regardless of the cost.

Finally, I don't know about you, but I outgrew making fun of people's names back in elementary school. I hope you realize that gets you nowhere.

Thankyou. I'm not responding to this thread again. I hope your Sprint experience is a merry one.

Treo with Sprint is very good. I have had it for about three weeks now, and works great. No dropped calls, and the web browser speed really is faster than a dial-up, at least in my area. I'm sorry to hear about that, maybe its your area; I've been hearing that where you are located, at least for right now, may effect your service quality. Not sure though. Bottom line, Sprint is godd with the Treo, make that great!!!

Yay. Noone asked you to post in the first place.
The thread is called FLAME ON. What did you expect?
Flaming has it's purpose, and basically when someone is "mad as hell and not going to take it anymore" the community needs to know.

Too bad Mr. Smithers will find out about your misappropiation of funds and yer hair will fall out

Actually, a warning here should not be needed, I am going to close this thread. Here's why:

Flaming is not tolerated on the VisorCentra/TreoCentral boards at all. Whether it is at people or at companies, being rude, impolite, and more is just not appropriate. We encourage you to voice your concerns, and let others know about your interactions with a certain company, product, but you must do so politely.

    No Flaming - at all.
