I'm sure this has been covered in excess of 4 bajillion times, but I couldn't find good instructions in the search. Go figure.

I'm going to be getting a new computer and want to move all my desktop files from the old to the new.

Here's the complication: I currently use Outlook, but don't want to do so in the future (company computer now and I'll be using my own later).


after re-reading this, it seems this is two questions.

1. How to stop using Outlook for sync-ing?
2. Which files to copy from old computer to new computer?
