Treo ordered & on the way ... now since I have not quite spent all of my annual allowance , I have been shopping for SD cards and there seems to be a tremendous gap between the price for them vs MMC cards. The Treo takes both (?) ... does the performance gain for SD warrant the price hit ?

really, i dont work for these guys, but i posted in the "which card do you use poll" a link that takes you to tigerdirect.com

they have 32MMC cards for $19 and the SD for $29
im not too sure if theyre slower cards, but you cant hardly beat the price.
they also have the new lexar 512 SD for 349.99 i dont know if it works with the treo though.

anyway, if you find a place cheaper, post a link please.

Do you have a Costco membership? I recently went there and bought a 64Mb SD card for about $70 CDN ($40USD) and now they have a 128Mb SD card for $120CDN ($80USD)..do you live in the Vancouver area? if so it is the one on Grandview Highway by Highway 1 that I saw the 128Mb SD card for.
    Alex.

P.S. If you have the loose stylus problem and decide to get a warranty replacement through Handspring, ask how to send it back from Canada...I ended having to go through quite a bit of hassle.
