I am kind of irritated that whenever I flip the cover on my Treo270 it automatically switches on the speed dial screen, this requires me hit a button to get to the the screen I want. I would like to program it to jump directly to the applications screen or maybe datebook4. Is there a way I can do this?

I use Button-T for this (written by a member of the Treo development team). There is another program out there that fixes this as well but I can't remember which one. BTW, just select NONE for the lid-flip operation in Button-T or pick an app you would like to appear (NONE allows you to go back to the app you were last using before you powered off). Enjoy,

TreoButton will allow you to customize a lot of things. It is also free. You can find it by searching at www.palmgear.com.

I switched over to TreoButton a couple of days ago because you can also use the Shift key with it (the shift key is easier to hit when driving).
