Hey I use MultiMail Demo...look it up on google. It just lets you sync the first 250 characters of each email but it works for me! There is no limit to how long you can use it and it's free. The registered version is like 20 bucks. You can also use multimail pro with it but I don't the built in mail app is good enough. I hate it that the apple doesn't let you do email and you have to find a software program that does it. Damn...I love my mac though :-P
    Cheers

It has nothing to do with Apple not "letting" you do e-mail - chances are, if you're using OS9, Apple has nothing to do with your e-mail client. The reason Mac/Palm users can't sync their e-mail out of the box (like our Windows counterparts) is because Palm never included a conduit to the more popular Mac e-mail clients, like they do for Outlook.

thorin: If you're using Outlook Express, I'd recommend the Multimail conduit. I used it for a while (with Entourage - the code on Ent2001 is similar enough that you can fool MM), and it worked great. Only trouble was, when I moved everything to my new Powerbook in December, MM flaked out and gave me a cache error, whatever the hell that means.

Which is ok, since I'm in a holding pattern anyway. I'm using OSX full time now (I love it - can't wait for Jaguar over the summer), and with the MS Entourage conduit coming over the summer (which, by the way, is fully functional, including e-mail), I'm back in business - except that HS says that Visors won't sync with Palm Desktop 4.0, the version available for OSX. So, despite my love for my Prism, I may have to give in and grab either a Palm or (assuming Missing Sync is OSX compatible) a Sony.
    What do you think, Sirs?

assuming Missing Sync is OSX compatible
The Missing Sync software actually allows me to use my Treo90 in OS X. Apparently its not just for Sony's. You cannot sync in Palm Desktop X w/o it though.
