    Besides the obvious advertised features, these are my observations when comparing the 270 to the 180 unit I had. Just my personal observations compared to my 180 (now sold). Your mileage may vary but would be interested in others comparisons.

    On the 270:

    The speaker seems louder

    You can definitely tell the improved battery capacity

    The screen is much snappier than the 180 in refreshing

    I have better GSM reception indoors with my 270 than I did with the 180 for some unexplained reason

    Blazer IS faster ???

    My unit charges to full in shorter time than the 180 from low battery warning (go figure with larger battery and same charger)

    I can feel the slight extra weight, it does not feel as easy to drop

    Lighted keyboard is oh so sweet

    Stylus has a nice precision point

    Backlight makes a reasonable flashlight in the dark

    Great unit!
