Handspring always said the Treo will be GPRS upgradeable.

GPRS exists everywhere in the world. I didn't see any update available for the Treo, yet.

They say it will be a software update. So, why don't release it soon, since GPRS is already available?

I have this thing Whispering in my ears something like "Hmmm... perhaps this GPRS stuff is vapourware?"...

What if Handspring comes back and say "Ooops, sorry, it'll require a hardware change, and the Treos out there will not work"?

I'm asking because I use GPRS on my Ericsson, and connect my Prism over Bluetooth... To change to another device I want at least the same speed (I know the Treo will not beat the talk and standby times of my Ericsson).

Get some sleep, this too shall pass.
